The Bridge Student Newspaper

General Information

The Bridge is the official student newspaper of LaGuardia Community College. The publication has been published since 1982 and was previously known as Fiorello's Flute.
The Bridge is a monthly newspaper and features news focusing on its home school and Long Island City, its location. The newspaper also features news about art, sports and entertainment in its S.E.A. section (Sports Art & Entertainment).
LaGuardia students as well as students from CUNY are encouraged to join the newspaper. We meet on Wednesdays at 3:00 p.m. in room M159 in LaGuardia's Main Building.
